Happy birthday to the love of my life. You have broken me and healed me in beautiful ways. Watching you grow has been an emotional ride for me. Every phase of your life is bittersweet. I long for the days when you would be so content in my arms and would fall asleep nursing. Now, my sweet cooing baby is replaced by a rambunctious boy who pulls my hair and uses my body as a playground. I pray that God blesses you with kindness, good faith and a strong sense of self. Also, can you please stop drooling on my clothes? I thought we were done with that stage.
